On the afternoon of September 23, NTT Institute of International Education (NIIE) successfully organized a special orientation program for new students in Business Administration. This event marked an important beginning, not only helping students get familiar with their new academic environment but also offering clear guidance on personal development paths and the essential tools for the promising university years ahead.

With years of experience in business management, A/Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Nhi and guest speaker Dr. Dinh Han shared practical insights into management, leadership, and how businesses operate. Their inspiring stories brought a fresh perspective, motivating new students on their journey toward future careers.

During the program, students were introduced to NIIE’s vision, mission, and educational philosophy of “Real Learning- Real Practice – Real Prestige – Real Career”. Additionally, the training principle of “Global Learning – Global Success” was emphasized, aiming to cultivate global thinking and best prepare students for the future.
NIIE is committed not only to theoretical education but also to equipping students with essential competencies upon graduation, including: Professional Competence, Global Citizenship, Life-long Learning, and especially an Entrepreneurial Mindset. These values will give NIIE students a competitive advantage both locally and internationally.

In his talk, A/Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Nhi highlighted the soft skills that students need to acquire to excel in their studies and prepare for their future careers. Critical skills such as problem-solving, time management, and document preparation are essential. Additionally, achieving one of the four professional certifications—Design Thinking, Critical Thinking, TRIZ, or Leadership—will boost students’ confidence and readiness to enter the professional world.
Moreover, Professor Xuan Nhi stressed the importance of foreign languages, particularly English. In the field of Business Administration, proficiency in English not only enables students to absorb new knowledge and stay updated with business trends but also opens doors to attractive career opportunities.

Guest speaker Dr. Pham Dinh Han shared real-world experiences from his time leading companies. He pointed out that Business Administration is not only a dynamic and creative field but also offers numerous career opportunities. However, to seize these opportunities, students need to actively accumulate knowledge and experience by attending industry conferences and seminars, while regularly updating themselves with the latest trends from market research reports and international journals.

Dr. Pham Dinh Han also noted that networking within the industry is crucial for expanding career opportunities. Proactively engaging and connecting with industry veterans can bring significant benefits to personal and professional growth.
One of the highlights of the program was the proactive spirit shown by the new students. Not only did they listen attentively, but they also enthusiastically asked questions and engaged in discussions with the speakers to broaden their knowledge and perspectives. The passion and sharp thinking of NIIE students demonstrate the potential of these “seeds,” who are set to become high-quality human resources in the future.

The Business Administration Orientation Day ended on a high note, filled with excitement and hope. This event provided students with a clearer understanding of their academic journey and offered a valuable opportunity to connect with experts, faculty, and fellow students. With the support of NIIE and the values imparted during the program, our new students are sure to embark on their academic and personal development journeys with confidence.
