Foreign Language Program
English is “one of the three languages everyone needs to know in the 4.0 era”; however, it remains a challenge for many pupils and students. The NIIE English Program (NEP) is designed to help learners overcome language barriers and confidently use English after completing the course:
ADVANCED PROGRAM:
The program is developed and delivered in strategic partnership with Pearson Education (UK), applying the Global Scale of English (GSE).
LEVELS SUITABLE FOR LEARNERS:
The program includes 6 levels, from beginner to B2 (equivalent to IELTS 5.5–6.0). Before enrollment, students will attend an English refresher course and take a placement test appropriate to their level.
INTEGRATED SKILLS:
Integrated teaching in Year 1 and Year 2 alongside skills-based and foundational courses, giving students more opportunities to practice.
RICH LEARNING RESOURCES:
During the program, students will use official materials from Pearson, including interactive e-books, online modules, learning videos, and online exercises.
LEARNING WITH INTERNATIONAL LECTURERS:
25% of study time is delivered by international lecturers, helping students improve listening and speaking fluency.
INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
Upon completion, students will be supported in taking international English certification exams directly at the University.
MODERN TEACHING AND LEARNING METHODS WITH VARIOUS SUPPORT ACTIVITIES:
Group learning, practical learning, game-based learning, extracurricular activities, English clubs, teaching assistants, and supplementary classes.
