During the thesis process, data processing and analysis often pose significant challenges for students in economics-related fields. Understanding this difficulty, the NTT Institute of International Education (NIIE) is organizing the “Quantitative Analysis Using SPSS” workshop to help final-year students gain hands-on experience with a powerful data analysis tool. This workshop aims to enhance the accuracy and scientific rigour of their research.
With a structured curriculum ranging from fundamental to advanced concepts, the workshop not only deepens students’ understanding of research methodologies but also provides step-by-step guidance on data collection, processing, and evaluation using SPSS software. In particular, the intensive practice sessions will allow students to correct mistakes in real-time, avoid common research errors, and optimize the quality of their theses.
Participants & Workshop Details
🔹 Eligibility: Final-year economics students working on their graduation thesis.
🔹 Capacity: 80 students (on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to thesis groups; each group can register up to 2 students).
🔹 Duration: 4 sessions – 4 mandatory topics

Important Notes:
- Students must register in thesis groups (max. 2 students per group).
