Key Workshop Content
The “Quantitative Analysis Using SPSS Software” workshop is designed with a hands-on, thesis-oriented approach, closely aligned with quantitative research requirements, enabling NIIE final-year students to:
- Become familiar with the complete quantitative research process, from raw data to reporting and thesis defense
- Collect data using Google Forms, and process and clean datasets according to academic standards
- Practice descriptive statistics and present data in a clear, logical manner
- Conduct data analysis using SPSS, including scale reliability testing (Cronbach’s Alpha) and Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA)
- Apply T-tests, ANOVA, and multivariate regression to address research questions
- Develop academic writing skills in accordance with scholarly standards
- Strengthen thesis defense skills and practice data storytelling
- Gain orientation on using AI transparently and responsibly in academic research and writing
To ensure the best learning outcomes, NIIE encourages students to participate in groups, attend all sessions fully and consistently, and follow the workshop throughout its entire learning pathway. In addition, students are expected to prepare in advance by installing the required software, checking their devices, and familiarizing themselves with data at home to ensure the quality of each session. Serious preparation and a strong sense of collaboration will help students maximize the value of the workshop for their graduation thesis.
