For Information Technology students, the graduation project defense marks more than the end of a four-year university journey — it’s a stage to showcase technology-driven solutions that reflect both personal identity and professional ambition. At the NTT Institute of International Education (NIIE), where practical training and innovation are at the core, each project not only demonstrates technical competence but also represents a student’s commitment to the field and to the future they are programming every day.

The IT graduation project defense brought together a panel of seasoned professionals with strong expertise and a modern technological outlook:
- Dr. Tran Son Hai, Head of the Information Technology program at NIIE;
- Mr. Trinh Huy Hoang, MSc;
- Mr. Ma Ngan Giang, MSc;
- Mr. Nguyen Do Thai Nguyen, MSc;
- Mr. Tran Thanh Nha, MSc;
- Mr. Luong Tran Hy Hien, MSc (Senior Developer – Endava Vietnam)
Their insights and constructive feedback not only helped refine the projects but also offered fresh perspectives, helping students better understand real-world applications and strengthen their career readiness.
Each Project – A Technological Vision, A Promising Solution
This year’s list of graduation project topics reflected both breadth and depth in how NIIE IT students approached and solved problems. From internal management systems like attendance tracking, payroll, and school asset management, to online learning platforms, educational games, and AI-powered applications such as facial recognition for attendance, electronic identity verification, and status detection across web, mobile, and hardware interfaces — each project was built from logical thinking, coding skills, and a passion for contribution.

Notably, several projects stood out for their research depth and clear social impact, including:
- Driver Drowsiness Detection System using Deep Learning – a smart safety solution with scalable applications in automotive and logistics industries.

- AI-Powered Learning Platform Developed on Mendix – a project highly praised for its practical potential and ease of implementation in educational settings without major investment.
- Smart Agriculture with IoT – combining sensors, monitoring technology, and software to optimize irrigation, fertilization, and environmental control. Notably, a project member demonstrated exceptional self-learning ability and graduated ahead of schedule.

Students also kept pace with cutting-edge technologies, integrating Deep Learning, Low-code platforms, Big Data, AI, and IoT into their projects — showcasing adaptability and technical agility in today’s digital transformation era.
Tech-Driven Thinking Meets Real-World Application

What set this year’s graduation project defenses apart was how students bridged theory with practice. The review panel praised many projects for demonstrating solid system thinking, well-designed UI/UX, data processing proficiency, and fluent bilingual presentations in both English and Vietnamese.

Several groups didn’t stop at completing a graduation project — they expressed clear entrepreneurial vision, with aspirations to scale their solutions into real-world applications or even future commercial ventures.
NIIE – Where Tech Students Build Real Value
The atmosphere at the defense sessions was not just that of a final academic assessment, but also a space for creativity, teamwork, and a strong drive to create value — line by line of code. Embracing the “learning by doing” approach, NIIE’s curriculum empowered students with real-world exposure, personal development, and the confidence to step into the tech industry fully equipped.
From simple models to deployable systems, the IT graduation project defense was not an end, but a launchpad — the beginning of a new journey where students “program” their futures and truly master technology to make a difference.

If you’re searching for an IT learning environment that’s hands-on, creative, real-world oriented, and trend-aware, NIIE is the place to start crafting your own career program, with code and with passion.
