With dynamism and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, after more than a month of competition, the NIIE Startup 2024 competition has received over 40 entries with many creative ideas.
This year’s startup competition entries are evaluated as creative, innovative, and highly practical. Highlights include projects related to the application of artificial intelligence technology, environmental protection, green tourism, online learning, and more. On another note, there are also many special and unique topics that focus on local characteristics, such as tourism and food, to foster startup businesses and hometown development.
After a rigorous evaluation and selection process by the judging panel, here are the 10 startup projects that will advance to the Final Round:

The Final Round is expected to commence on May 29, 2024, in a direct presentation format. Each team will have 10 minutes to present their project to the judges and 10 minutes for the Q&A session. The total prize value of the competition is 16,000,000 VND, including 1 First Prize of 3,500,000 VND, 1 Second Prize of 3,000,000 VND, 1 Third Prize of 2,500,000 VND, and 7 Consolation Prizes, each worth 1,000,000 VND. Notably, the winning projects will continue to be “nurtured” and mentored by faculty and experts from the NTT International Education Institute and Nguyen Tat Thanh University to further compete in higher-level competitions. Moreover, these ideas and projects may evolve from mere concepts on paper to actual startup ventures.
