NIIE is launching the “NIIE Startup 2024” competition to promote entrepreneurship spirit and innovation while providing a platform to make the “Startup” course more engaging and appealing. The competition is not only an opportunity for students to apply knowledge but also a catalyst for them to turn their ideas and plans into reality confidently. Additionally, the feedback, sharing of experiences, and enthusiastic support from teachers will serve as a foundation for students to continue participating in both large and small projects in the future.
Competition details are as follows:
I/ Participants: All students currently enrolled at NIIE from various courses.
II/ Competition Rules: Students can participate individually or in groups.
- Registration:
- Students taking the “Startup” course in the second semester of 2023 – 2024: Register with the course instructor and submit the entry before April 25, 2024 (Week 10). (Students submit PPT or Word files to the instructor for compilation.)
- Other student groups interested in participating can submit project proposals (PPT, Word, Canva, etc.) via email to hqdat@ntt.edu.vn or meet directly with Mr. Dat at table 4, room M102, before April 25, 2024 (Week 10).
- Format of Entry:
- Preliminary Round:
- The preliminary judging panel will evaluate the projects, and 10 potential projects will be selected to advance to the final round.
- The institute will connect the top 10 projects with mentors to refine their projects in preparation for the final round.
- Preliminary round results will be announced on May 2, 2024, on the Institute’s Facebook page and website.
- Final Round:
- Date: 8:30 AM – May 29, 2024 (Estimated).
- Venue: Room M201, NTT Institute of International Education, District 7 Campus (Estimated).
- Format: The project will be presented before the judging panel for 10 minutes, followed by a 10-minute Q&A session between the judging panel and the team.
III. Prize Structure:
- 1st Prize: 3,500,000 VND.
- 2nd Prize: 3,000,000 VND.
- 3rd Prize: 2,500,000 VND.
- 7 Encouragement Prizes: 1,000,000 VND.
