The NTT Institute of International Education (NIIE) proudly celebrates another academic achievement as two students, Khuat Hong Truc Vy and Nguyen Van An, have been honored with awards in Science and Technology organized by the Ministry of Education and Training. This accomplishment reflects their strong research capability, academic mindset, and the spirit of Real Learning – Real Success – Real Prestige – Real Future at NIIE.
Both Third Prize-winning projects demonstrate high applicability and a deeply humanistic perspective. Together with their peers from NTTU, Truc Vy and Van An contributed to the first research project titled “Risks of Air Pollution and Street Food Around School Areas: A Sociological Analysis of Students’ Perceptions and Behaviors”, supervised by Mr. Tran Thanh, MSc and Mr. Vu Tran Nhat Phuong, MBA, focusing on evaluating how the living environment impacts young people’s health.
Under the guidance of Mr. Tran Thanh, MSc and Mrs. Tran Hoang Cam Tu, MBA, the two NIIE talents also carried out the second project, “Assessing Ecosystem Services in Urban Socio-Economic Geography: The Case of Tao Dan Park and Gia Dinh Park, Ho Chi Minh City,” aiming to highlight the value of green spaces in modern urban life.
Additionally, Truc Vy received a Consolation Prize for the research topic “Utilizing Herbal Waste from Traditional Medicine Manufacturing to Develop Herbal Oyster Mushroom Products Toward a Circular Economy,” supervised by Mr. Tran Thanh, MSc and Mr. Do Vinh Duong, Engineer.
