The NIIE’s Got Talent 2025 event was recently held with great success at the District 4 campus auditorium of the NTT Institute of International Education – Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NIIE). More than just a stage to showcase individual talents, the program served as a vibrant playground that connected students and celebrated the youthful, confident, and creative spirit of NIIE’s Gen Z generation.
The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh – Vice President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Director of NTT Institute of International Education; Dr. Nguyen Manh Hoang – Deputy Director of NIIE; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong – Head of Business Administration and Technology Program; Mr. Le Quang Khanh, MBA – Head of International Relations Department, NTTU; Mr. Nguyen Phuong Thong, MBA – Deputy Head of International Relations Department, NTTU; Mrs. Duong Thi Kim Xoa, MBA – Deputy Head of Corporate Relations and Student Career Services, NTTU; Mrs. Tran Thi Kim Phuong, MBA – NIIE lecturer; along with faculty members, staff, and a vibrant student audience.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh emphasized: “NIIE’s Got Talent is a meaningful annual event—not only a platform for discovering new talents but also a space that connects students, allowing them to showcase their strengths and express their personalities. I hope that today’s outstanding performers will continue to shine in their future journey—not only in terms of talent but also in academics and career.”
A Stage of Talents – A Symphony of Emotions
The atmosphere was set right from the opening performance—a heartfelt guitar and vocal rendition of “Fly Me to the Moon” by lecturer Tran Minh Duong—filling the auditorium with warmth and emotion. This was followed by a sweet and nostalgic performance by freshman Tran Quoc Linh, who sang “A Mother’s Dream”, touching the hearts of the audience and bringing them back to the cherished memories of childhood.
Next up, student Van Van Ha captivated music lovers with a tender and emotional love ballad. The stage then burst into life with an energetic Dance Mashup by the Baddiez Squad—a team led by alumna Nguyen Thi Thu Hang—whose powerful choreography and dynamic stage presence had the audience glued to their seats.
Following that, student Le Hieu Nhan touched the audience with his heartfelt rendition of “Foreign Land”, evoking deep emotions of homesickness from afar. Lecturer Huynh Huu Nghiem then delivered a high-energy performance of “A Round of Vietnam”, stirring up national pride and patriotism in celebration of the upcoming April 30th Reunification Day.
The energy in the room surged again with the dynamic dance performance “Dynamic Duo” by student Lam Nhac Hoa. Her confident, precise moves brought the audience to its feet with thunderous applause.
The show concluded on a high note with DJ Huynh Kim Loc‘s powerful set “Around Vietnam”—a stunning fusion of modern beats and traditional melodies that served as a strong statement of Gen Z spirit: global-minded but deeply rooted in heritage.
Celebrating the Brightest Stars
After an evening full of thrilling and heartfelt performances, the official results of NIIE’s Got Talent 2025 were announced:
- First Prize: Lecturer Huynh Huu Nghiem
- Second Prize: Student Huynh Kim Loc
- Third Prize: Baddiez Squad, led by alumna Nguyen Thi Thu Hang
- Two Fourth Prizes: Student Lam Nhac Hoa and student Le Hieu Nhan
- Encouragement Awards: Lecturer Tran Minh Duong, student Van Van Ha, and student Tran Quoc Linh
The encouragement prizes honored the enthusiasm and commitment of every contestant involved.
