E-Commerce is a method of conducting online business that leverages information technology and the Internet to facilitate fast and efficient online transactions, including buying, selling, exchanging, and payment processes.
The E-Commerce program at NIIE is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to successfully conduct business and work in the digital space (e-commerce sites, social networks, etc.). The interdisciplinary curriculum covers knowledge areas such as the digital environment (commercial business law, e-commerce site design, security, etc.), digital communication (digital marketing, brand management, customer behavior, etc.), logistics (logistics management, distribution channel management, etc.), and management (customer care, business strategy, etc.).
A distinctive feature of the E-Commerce program at NIIE is the use of advanced international textbooks, bilingual instruction in English and Vietnamese, and a practical training model that includes case studies, business projects, company visits, and expert meetings. Additionally, the program integrates enhanced English training through six levels, from basic to B2 standard (equivalent to IELTS 5.5 – 6.0), enabling students to confidently work in international environments.
Admission is based on one of the following methods:
Method 1: Admission based on the results of the high school graduation exam.
Method 2: Admission based on academic records meeting one of the following criteria:
+ Average scores of 3 semesters: 1 semester of grade 10, 1 semester of grade 11, and the 1st semester of grade 12 ≥ 18 points. (Students can select the highest score from 2 semesters each year).
+ Combination score of 12th-grade admission subjects ≥ 18 points.
+ Average score of grade 12 ≥ 6.0.
Method 3: Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University.
