The 4.0 revolution has opened up a new era with the convergence of new technologies such as IoT – the Internet of Things, advanced robots, artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, cloud computing, wireless mobile technology, and quantum computing.
Vietnam is emerging as a software outsourcing hub for the world. Consequently, the demand for IT workforce is very high, to the point of facing a “supply shortage” for engineers who possess both strong technical expertise and fluency in foreign languages.
By studying at NIIE, students are equipped with specialized skills in analysis, design, development, testing, operation, and maintenance of software systems and computer systems through internationally standardized training materials and practical projects with experts from industry.
Additionally, students have the opportunity to enhance English proficiency through 6 levels, ranging from basic to B2 standard (equivalent to IELTS 5.5 – 6.0) in a bilingual environment.
Admission is based on one of the following methods:
Method 1: Admission based on the results of the high school graduation exam.
Method 2: Admission based on academic records meeting one of the following criteria:
+ Average scores of 3 semesters: 1 semester of grade 10, 1 semester of grade 11, and the 1st semester of grade 12 ≥ 18 points. (Students can select the highest score from 2 semesters each year).
+ Combination score of 12th-grade admission subjects ≥ 18 points.
+ Average score of grade 12 ≥ 6.0.
Method 3: Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University.
