16 Years – A Journey of Pride
Since its founding in 2009, NIIE has marked many memorable milestones: from partnerships with leading international education organizations such as Edexcel (UK), FTMS Global (Singapore), and Coventry University (UK), to its expansion in 2025 with 9 majors and 12 programs. Throughout the journey, NIIE has continuously affirmed its position as a pioneer in the internationalization of education at Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
Dr. Tuan Anh Nguyen, Vice President of NTTU and Director of NIIE, sharing about the institute’s journey of formation and development.
Beyond its development milestones, NIIE has achieved remarkable accomplishments: recognized by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee as an “Excellent Labor Collective”, building a strong network of 200+ corporate partners, and developing a team of experienced industry lecturers. Most notably, NIIE students have achieved impressive results in both academic and entrepreneurial competitions at home and abroad, such as:
- Student Khac Tin Duong reaching the Quarterfinals of The Moneyverse 2025 – an innovative finance and investment reality program on VTV3.
- Student Phuc Quynh Le representing Vietnam at Regen Asia Summit 2025 at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
Not Just Academics – But a Dynamic Student Community

For 16 years, NIIE has not only focused on academic quality but also on building a dynamic, multicultural student community. Academic activities, research, entrepreneurship programs, field trips, and workshops have gone hand-in-hand with vibrant cultural and artistic events such as NIIE’s Fair, NIIE’s Got Talent, football tournaments, international celebrations for Laos and Cambodia, Christmas – Lunar New Year festivities, and appreciation events for teachers and women.
A Moment to Connect and Inspire

The 16th anniversary gathering was a chance for generations of faculty and students to relive memories, recall challenges overcome, and celebrate proud achievements. More importantly, it was a moment for NIIE to look ahead—with a spirit of unity, creativity, and readiness to conquer new challenges.
Without lengthy speeches, the event closed with warm handshakes, bright smiles, and heartfelt promises: “See you again at the next milestones—when NIIE will shine even brighter.”
