On October 22, the NTT Institute of International Education (NIIE) successfully organized the Career Orientation Day for New Students in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, with the participation of a logistics and supply chain expert with over 20 years of experience, Mr. Khiem Tran.
Accompanying the New Students of the Logistics K23 program during the Career Orientation Day was Mr. Khiem Tran, the Marketing Director of APETech Company, an expert with over 20 years of experience who has worked in 11 different countries and 25 cities.
During the Orientation, the K23 students were provided with relevant information about educational philosophy, training objectives, training duration, and professional capabilities after graduation. Additionally, they learned more about the advantages of studying at NIIE, such as strengthened English, ensuring a B2 standard output (IELTS 5.5 – 6.0), a practice-oriented curriculum that enhances vocational capabilities, internships and field trips at seaports, a network with major enterprises, international libraries, and diverse reference materials and documents.
With over 20 years of experience in the Logistics field, having worked in 11 countries and 25 different cities, Mr. Khiem Tran was an ideal choice to guide the career paths for the new students. Using statistical data, reports from the industry, he offered students the most realistic insights into the industry’s potential, showing that Logistics still presents numerous development opportunities, not only in the Vietnamese market but also within ASEAN.
“Technology and language are the keys to becoming global Logistics professionals,” said the Marketing Director of APETech Company, emphasizing that understanding the students’ mindset in the Logistics field, they do not want to be “confined” to the domestic market but aim to reach out to the world. Mr. Khiem Tran shared experiences to help students realize their dreams and openly highlighted the advantages and potential future opportunities when Vietnam is seen as a “golden land” for Logistics. He also pointed out the knowledge, skills, and technology students need to focus on to keep up with international trends, enhance their personal value, and confidently apply to leading businesses and multinational corporations.
After over 2 hours of working, listening to experience sharing and Q&A with the expert, the K23 New Students in Logistics gained a better understanding of the field they are pursuing, realizing what they need to prepare and accumulate for their future career. Especially significant were the essential details about direction, expanding job choices after graduation.
