The graduation thesis defense day marks a significant milestone for every final-year student. At the NTT Institute of International Education (NIIE), the recent thesis defenses by Business Administration students were not only a testament to their academic growth but also highlighted their practical application abilities, research mindset, and global readiness — traits that define today’s Gen Z generation.
Experienced Committees Offering Comprehensive Evaluation

Three defense sessions were organized, each overseen by a dedicated committee composed of top-level experts — individuals not only academically accomplished but also highly attuned to real-world market dynamics. Notable committee members included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Nhi, Dean of Business Administration at NTTU and Head of Business Administration at NIIE; Dr. Nguyen Manh Hoang, Vice Director of NIIE; and Dr. Nguyen Giang Do, Vice Dean of Business Administration at NTTU and Head of Creative Business at NIIE. Accompanying them were NIIE’s experienced faculty members, who contributed practical insights and multi-dimensional perspectives, helping bring the evaluations closer to the students’ own experiences.
Diverse Topics Reflecting Contemporary Trends

A total of 30 topics were presented, demonstrating the students’ serious academic attitude and acute awareness of market trends. From current issues like Gen Z’s “quiet quitting” and the impact of AI on business performance, to sustainable consumption trends such as eco-friendly cosmetics, green household appliances, and e-waste recycling behaviors — these topics showed that students at NIIE study not just to know, but to act, to understand society, and to contribute meaningfully to the community.

Several theses stood out by integrating advanced technologies and modern research methods — such as blockchain applications in food supply chains, AI-driven business data analysis, and models for measuring customer behavior on TikTok, a platform currently leading the digital communication trend in Vietnam.

Beyond strong content development, these theses also showcased academic rigor through structured formats, scientific research models, adept use of analytical tools like SPSS and AMOS, and fluent, professional bilingual presentations in English and Vietnamese.

Academic Identity Shining Through – Affirming Education Quality

Throughout the sessions, committee members frequently nodded in agreement, impressed by the students’ confidence, critical thinking, and articulate presentations. Many projects were praised for their high practical value, with potential to become start-up ventures or be implemented directly within businesses.

A major highlight was the students’ independent thinking and ability to explore new, innovative topics — essential skills in the digital era. These qualities clearly reflect the impact of NIIE’s educational approach, which emphasizes proactive, practice-based learning and supports students in growing comprehensively in both professional knowledge and soft skills.
Graduation Thesis – The Culmination of Knowledge

The graduation thesis is more than just a “final exam” before officially graduating — it’s a journey through which each student proves their academic capability, research proficiency, and practical problem-solving skills. It’s also an opportunity for self-reflection, a moment of pride in their efforts, and a readiness for what lies ahead — where the diploma is just the beginning, and true preparation lies in self-belief and the solid foundation built for entering a rapidly evolving job market.
