NIIE Students Gain Real-World Experience at Mai House Saigon Hotel: When Art Meets Hospitality

On July 10, 2025, students from the Hospitality Management program at the NTT Institute of International Education (NIIE) had the opportunity to visit and connect with one of Ho Chi Minh City’s most refined and artistic hotels — Mai House Saigon Hotel. This visit was part of the practical learning component of the “Hotel and Restaurant Operations Management” course, directly guided by Dr. Nguyen Duong Giang, aiming to deepen students’ understanding of the hospitality industry through hands-on experience.

A Hotel Space that Feels Like a Living Art Museum

Mai House Saigon is more than just a hotel — it is a living work of art. Every detail of its space, from the architecture to interior design, tells a story of Vietnamese culture, history, and people. This unique aspect made the field trip not only professionally enriching but also a powerful exploration of aesthetic values and brand identity.

Không đơn thuần là một khách sạn, Mai House còn được xem là một tác phẩm nghệ thuật sống.

  • The vision, mission, and brand-building journey of Mai House,
  • How the hotel positions itself in the high-end hospitality market of Ho Chi Minh City,
  • Its full-service ecosystem — from guest rooms and restaurants to lounges and event spaces,
  • International-standard hotel operations using advanced software and professional workflows.
