The seminar Seminar “Quantitative Data Analysis Using SPSS” is specially designed for senior students in the economics major to assist them in completing their graduation theses. The main purpose of the program is to provide students with a comprehensive knowledge foundation from basic to advanced levels in data analysis, along with guidance on using SPSS software. Students will learn how to efficiently collect and process data, develop analysis skills, and assess data quality, thereby enhancing the quality of their graduation theses and contributing to the dynamic and professional academic environment at NIIE.

– Topic A: Overview of research methods and data analysis, problem identification, sample design, and scaling (180 minutes)
– Topic B: Data collection and processing techniques (180 minutes)
– Topic C: Data analysis and statistical testing (180 minutes)
– Topic D: Application of data analysis in research (180 minutes)
In each topic, students will go through theoretical overviews to practical data processing steps, receiving feedback from guest speakers.
