Hi Han, could you introduce yourself a little?

Hello, I’m Do Nguyen Ngoc Han from Long An. I love listening to music, reading books, and consider myself quite introverted, so I’m usually quiet. Oh, I was born in July, so I’m a Cancer. On this occasion, I’d like to extend my warm greetings to the lecturers, students, and staff at the NTT Institute of International Education, Nguyen Tat Thanh University. I’m delighted to share my story with everyone!

Becoming a top-ranked student must be a tremendous honor. How did you feel when you found out?

Honestly, I was quite surprised initially because I had simply tried my best without expecting such an exceptional result. But afterwards, I felt really happy and proud. I’d like to express my heartfelt thanks to the school for granting me this incredible opportunity and honor. This is a significant motivation for me to strive even harder in the journey ahead.

Why did you choose to study at the NTT Institute of International Education – Nguyen Tat Thanh University?

I chose NIIE because it combines everything I sought: a highly professional teaching staff, modern facilities, and attractive scholarship opportunities. Most importantly, the bilingual training program at NIIE is truly exceptional. I believe this is the place where I can learn and grow comprehensively.

A fun question—if you were given an elephant and couldn’t give it away or sell it, what would you do?

Oh, if I had an elephant, I’d contribute it to research projects for elephant conservation. Every species deserves protection, as biodiversity is one of nature’s wonders. If possible, I’d also use the opportunity to learn more about elephants, a cultural icon with great significance.

If your life were a book, what would the title of your current chapter be?

It would be “Learning and Growing”! I think this is the phase where I’m constantly improving myself and eagerly embracing new experiences.

After nearly a semester at NIIE, what has impressed you the most?

What impressed me the most were the bilingual program and the learning environment here. Everything is well-organized and professional yet still feels welcoming, making me feel comfortable and motivated to study every day.

What do you think about the lecturers and the bilingual learning experience at NIIE? Have there been any challenges in this program?

The lecturers at NIIE are very approachable and always ready to support students. I’m particularly impressed by how they not only teach knowledge but also share real-world experiences, which has broadened my perspective immensely. However, bilingual learning does have its challenges, especially when it comes to academic English materials. But with the dedicated help of my teachers and friends, I feel much more confident now.

Surely, you have your own study methods to achieve such results. Could you share them?

My method is quite simple: always try my best and manage my study time effectively. I try to balance study and leisure to avoid stress while setting specific goals for each subject to complete them more efficiently.

What is your favourite life motto? How has it influenced your approach to life and studies?

“If not now, then when?” is the motto that always pushes me to act whenever an opportunity arises. This saying helps me stay persistent in my studies and face life’s challenges with courage.

What are your plans and dreams for the future?

My dream is to study abroad to broaden my knowledge and experience an international learning environment. But for now, I’m focusing on excelling in my undergraduate program at NIIE, as I believe it’s the most crucial stepping stone for my future.

Thank you, Ngoc Han, for taking the time to share such inspiring stories about yourself. Your humility, intelligence, and passion will surely inspire many other students. Wishing you all the best as you shine on your academic journey and pursue your dreams! 🎓✨
